We caught up with Kate Walsh , who’s been traveling enough to be an honorary Jet Set Girl. She just returned from Belize (see above) where she was promoting Oceana’s efforts there to preserve its barrier reef. She’s also been to Anguilla, St. Barts, and on safari in Africa. She was leaving after our interview for a charity ski event in Park City on behalf of Operation Smile. With so many air miles logged, Kate has figured out what works best for her carry on and shared it with us.
What kind of carry on do you use? A beat up Louis Vuitton tote.
What do you bring to read? I can’t pass up an airport bookstore. I’ll buy anything nominated for an award. My boyfriend is in charge of magazines.
What do you bring to keep you warm? I wear a Jenni Kayne zip up hoodie and wrap it around my waist if it’s hot. I keep my toes warm with a pair of footy socks.
Any cosmetics to keep your skin fresh? Travel-sized Kate Sommerville lip balm, lotion and eye cream.
What can’t you leave behind? Of course, travel sized pulse point oil and solid perfume of my fragrances, Boyfriend and Billionaire Boyfriend. (We love roller ball perfumes and solids for travel too. Kate’s Boyfriend Kit below comes with a votive which is also perfect for travel.)

Good luck to Kate on her upcoming projects. We hope to see her in more great movies like The Perks of Being a Wallflower and shows as good as Private Practice and Grey’s Anatomy. Naturally, we’d love it if she reports back on her upcoming trips, too.
